BCHWF vs. The Police
The Blue Light Challenge Trophy
On a fantastic evening a game was played (10/09/2020). Not an ordinary game but a game that will go down in history as a celebration and commitment of those serving on the front lines in battle against the infamous Covid 19. It was a game between health and frontline workers and the Police – two very proud institutions who battled for ‘The Blue Light Challenge Trophy’. The winners of the inaugural annual cricket match are: Black Country Health & Well-being Foundation.
Special thanks to West Mercia police for hosting and sponsoring the blue light trophy, Margaret Sherry who is the Police and Crime Commissioner’s ambassador for North Worcestershire, Claire Barnett, Stourport-on-Severn and Wyre Forest district councillor. Thanks also goes to Rock Dental.
